Anyone for grilled slippers?

If you like your feet toastie warm, be careful not to overgrill your slippers or you could burn your house down - as an OAP in Hampshire nearly did!

Personally I have to admit that putting my slippers under the grill wouldn’t be my first idea if I needed to dry them out. Certainly it didn’t work out too well for Joan either, who caused the evacuation of the entire nursing home when her slippers caught fire under the grill. Apparently she has now learned her lesson though - so I wonder what her next idea will be for keeping her feet warm & dry …
