Contrary nature of cats

I loved this story about the cat having dinner every day with the Queen’s corgis. Mimi, from the Chinese Restaurant opposite Windsor Castle, has been visiting every day for 4 years - she is now such a regular visitor she gets VIP treatment!

Another story of typical contrary cat behaviour is Sgt Podge, who goes walkabout every night and then expects to be collected by car in the morning. His owner thinks he’s on the lookout for treats, and he’s now got into the routine of being picked up after his nightly explorations. During the week this isn’t a problem as he can be collected as part of the school run - however, Sgt Podge doesn’t recognise the difference between school days and holidays, so his owner still needs to make a special trip to pick him up on weekends and during school holidays.
