Keeping up with the latest fashion

Fashion and style are a large part of life for many people. You can see this reflected in the popularity of TV shows such as ‘What Not To Wear’, and in the current obsession with size 0.
Personally I’ve never really understood the hype behind many of the latest fashions, whether it’s a new range of gucci bags, or the latest catwalk style. It never seems to be designed to suit the ‘average’ person and with the additional cost involved with most brand names I really don’t see the point. Looking good doesn’t need to involve such huge cost in my opinion, it could even be seen as a challenge to find the best bargains!
