Reindeer in the sky

It must be getting close to Christmas, as reindeer have been spotted in the sky!

The incredible cloud formation photographed by Alan Blacklock in Wellington couldn’t have been planned. You could actually think Santa was getting ready, packing up his sleigh and calling in the reindeer ready for Christmas Eve. Apparently the amazing ckoud formations were the result of varying wind speeds and directions, but never mind the science, I think the picture is fantastic!
