The perfect pet pig

If you’re an animal lover, as I am, you’ll understand just how adorable pets are. I was delighted to find this article on the Pennywell minature pigs - small and sweet natured so they make perfect pets.

The Pennywell Farm in Devon have spent the last 9 years cross breeding pigs and now think they have found the perfect mix. The resulting piglets will grow to be about 1/5 the size of the usual pigs we see in Britain making them much easier to keep in the average household. They are also much more even tempered so you don’t have the danger of the adults turning vicious eitehr as can happen with some breeds of pig.

I also think they are adorabley cute and wish I could have one. Unfortunately it’s just not possible for me currently, and with the demand for these new mini pigs rising I expect the prices will limit them becoming a household fixture anytime soon.
